Privacy policy

Last updated November 1, 2026.

We collect as little as we can, we never sell personal details, and we don’t use them for advertising. This policy explains the details.

Who we are

SliderWorks is run by Muhammad Saad, sole trader (autónomo), tax number NIE Z0363350R, Carrer de Sant Francesc de Paula, 4, 46024 Valencia, Spain. We decide how the personal details described here are used (we are the “controller”). You can reach us at support@sliderworks.com about anything in this policy.

What this policy covers

Our website (sliderworks.com) and the SliderWorks app that pergola businesses use: their business area, Settings, team logins, Help and Support, invoices, and our 3D model service.

It does not cover the details that homeowners send to a pergola business through its designer. Those belong to that business, which decides how they are used and explains it in its own privacy notice. We only keep and process them for the business, under our data processing agreement.

What we collect

  • When you visit our website: the technical records every web server keeps (internet address, browser, the page asked for and the time). We use no analytics, no advertising tools and no cookies on the website.
  • When you write to us or ask for a demo: your name, email, company and whatever you write.
  • When your business signs up: the business name and country, and the email or phone and password you log in with. We keep only a scrambled copy of the password.
  • While your business uses the app: everything you set in Settings (brand, logo, pictures, contact details, products, prices and texts), your team members’ emails and access level, your Support messages, and your account history (when it was made, approved and changed).
  • When you order a 3D model: the files, drawings and photos you upload, our price proposal and your order.
  • When you choose a package: your billing details, our invoices to you, and the payments and receipts you send us for them. You pay by bank transfer or another way named on the invoice; we never ask for or keep card details.
  • When you use an offer code or invite another business: the code, what it gives you, and which business invited which.
  • When you put our badge on your website: the address of the page you give us, whether our badge is on it when we look (when you give it, then once a week), and the credit it earns.
  • When a page of the app fails: a short technical report (what went wrong, which page and which browser), with no personal details.
  • Logging in: one cookie that keeps you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To provide the service your business signed up for: log you in, run your designer and business area, send the emails it needs (codes, password links, welcome and approval emails, new leads, invoices and receipts), and deliver 3D models. Basis: our contract with you.
  • To review new businesses before their designer opens to the public, keep the service secure and fix errors. Basis: our legitimate interest in a safe, working service.
  • To answer your messages and demo requests. Basis: our legitimate interest in replying to you, or the steps you asked for before a contract.
  • To keep invoices and accounting records. Basis: our legal obligations.

If we ever want to use your details for something else, such as a newsletter, we will ask you first, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

The details asked for at sign-up and login are needed to open and run an account: without them we can’t provide the app. Everything else you give us is up to you. We make no decisions about you by automated means alone.

Who else sees them

Only the companies that run the service for us, each under a contract that protects your details:

  • Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus): hosts our website, sliderworks.com.
  • Vercel Inc. (USA): hosts the app, app.sliderworks.com, and stores uploaded files (logos, pictures, 3D models and receipts) in Frankfurt, Germany.
  • Neon (database servers in Frankfurt, Germany): keeps accounts, settings, leads and invoices.
  • Resend (email servers in Ireland): sends the app’s emails.
  • Google Ireland Ltd.: our booking calendar. When you book a demo with Pick a time, Google keeps your name, email, the details you add and the time you chose, and sends the video call link.
  • A business’s own CRM, and the extra email addresses it gives, when the business connects them under Settings › Connections: its new leads go there too.

We may also share details with our professional advisers, or with authorities when the law requires it.

Details that leave the European Union

Vercel Inc. is based in the USA, so some details are processed there, and Google may process demo bookings there too. Both take part in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and also sign the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, which give your details the protection EU law requires.

How long we keep them

  • Business accounts, settings and team logins: while your business has an account. When it closes, we delete them within 30 days.
  • Leads: as your business decides in Settings, and never longer than the account.
  • Messages and demo requests: up to two years after our last contact, unless they become part of a contract.
  • Invoices, receipts and accounting records: as long as tax law requires (in Spain, generally six years), also after an account closes.
  • Server records: kept by our host for a short time, usually a few days to a few weeks.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, limit or object to their use, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Much of it you can change yourself in Settings. For anything else, write to us at support@sliderworks.com. We answer within one month.

If you are not happy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es) or to the authority where you live.

If you live in the United States: we do not sell personal information and do not share it for targeted advertising. You can use the rights above wherever you live.

How we protect them

Everything travels over HTTPS. Passwords are stored scrambled. Every team member has their own login with “Full access” or “Leads only”, and logins expire. Our providers encrypt the data they store. See our Security page for more.

Children

SliderWorks is a service for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their details.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date on this page. If a change matters for how your details are used, we tell business accounts by email before it applies.
