How we protect your account, your settings and your customers’ requests.
In short
- Everything travels over HTTPS.
- Passwords are never stored as typed: we keep only a scrambled copy (scrypt, with a random salt for each password).
- Two-step login: after the password, a code from an authenticator app, with ten backup codes for when the phone is not at hand.
- Every team member has their own login, with “Full access” or “Leads only”. Logins expire.
- Accounts, settings, leads and invoices are kept in Frankfurt, Germany. Uploaded files are stored in Frankfurt too.
- Our providers encrypt the data they store.
Where your data lives
- Neon: the database, in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Vercel Inc.: runs the app, app.sliderworks.com, and stores uploaded files in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Resend: sends the app’s emails, from Ireland.
- Hostinger International Ltd.: hosts this website, sliderworks.com.
Each works for us under a contract that protects your details. The privacy policy and the data processing agreement have the details.
Your customers’ requests
The details homeowners send through your designer belong to your business. We keep and process them only for you, and only your team can see them. Download them as a spreadsheet at any time.
